Load shedding is its own loss
The grid's minutes are hatched on the tape and kept out of the plant's own figure. Every screen shows OEE and grid-adjusted OEE side by side, always both, so nobody argues about whose fault the hour was.
OEE and loss tracking for South African plants
Vloerboek watches a machine, finds the loss, gives the fix an owner and a date, checks that it worked, and shows the Rands. Built for South African plants: load shedding as its own loss, terminals that work offline, five languages, POPIA by construction.
The board below is a simulated line. Every figure on it is computed from the tape you can see, one minute at a time.
A stop is not a red bar. It is a minute with a cost, a reason with a category, a fix with a name on it, and a saving nobody counts until it is signed. This is the same stop, read in four places.
Two taps on the terminal at the machine, gloves on. The minute gets its reason and its cost there and then.
The second stop for the same reason calls the supervisor and opens a problem, with an owner, an action and a date.
Ten shifts after the fix, before and after are compared over a window. The saving counts only once an engineer signs it.
The month's report shows only what was signed, with the grid's losses kept apart from the plant's own.
Said as facts, with their units. Nothing on this list is a setting you switch on later.
The grid's minutes are hatched on the tape and kept out of the plant's own figure. Every screen shows OEE and grid-adjusted OEE side by side, always both, so nobody argues about whose fault the hour was.
A R2 000 Android tablet, gloves on, two taps to log a stop. Events queue on the device and sync when the network returns; the tape is replayed exactly as it happened because nothing is ever rewritten.
English, isiZulu, isiXhosa, Afrikaans and Sesotho, chosen per person from their tag. Learning at the machine speaks the operator's language; the office report reads in the manager's.
| Employee | Machine | Minutes | Name |

| 10388 | Press 1 | 6 | not exported |
Consent is asked in so many words. Every organisation's data sits behind row-level security from its first row; an audit log records who read what and why. Exports leave guarded and by employee number.
Every OEE product measures. The value is in the chain from the measurement to the signed saving. Vloerboek owns the chain.
Prices in Rand a month, excluding VAT. Pay monthly, or for 6 or 12 months at a time; a prepaid term keeps its price until it renews.
Measure every machine and see the loss in the same shift, in Rand.
Close the loop: find the loss, give it an owner, prove the fix, count the saving.
Several sites, one executive page, one contract.
Every organisation starts with a 30-day trial on up to 3 machines, from an editable sample plant with a press line and a packaging line. When a trial ends with no package, you keep reading and exporting your own data; new shifts wait until someone calls. Nothing is deleted. More than 60 machines, or several sites with their own contracts: book a demo and we price per site.
Straight answers. If yours is not here, write to us and a person replies.
Vloerboek is OEE and loss tracking for South African manufacturing plants. Operators log every stop on a tablet at the machine, the office sees each lost minute in Rand in the same shift, and every fix gets an owner, a date and a saving that counts only once it is verified.
Yes. The terminal keeps recording through an outage and sends everything when the network returns, in the order it happened. Load shedding is kept as its own loss, so every screen shows OEE and grid-adjusted OEE side by side.
English, isiZulu, isiXhosa, Afrikaans and Sesotho. Each operator's language is set on their own profile, so the terminal speaks it the moment they tag in, and the manager's report reads in the manager's language.
A tablet at each machine. Operators log stops and counts with two taps, gloves on, and there is nothing to wire into the machine to begin.
Consent is asked in so many words, each organisation's data is kept apart from its very first row, every read of personal data is logged, and exports carry employee numbers, never names.
Prices are in Rand a month, excluding VAT, and are listed on this page. Every organisation starts with a 30-day trial on up to 3 machines, from a sample plant you can change.
